You may be feeling overwelmed right now as few people plan on going into Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation. I would love to help you walk through this difficult time. Call me or come and see me at Walnut Place so that we can sit down and talk about the best option specifically for you or your loved one. Below is more information about Walnut Place's Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation.
Walnut Place began offering Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation in 1998. Should you require Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation care after a hospitalization, Walnut Place can accommodate your need. The second floor of our building is dedicated to this short-term level of care and includes two dining rooms, a therapy gym, and the support of nurses, therapists and social workers - all under the direction of a physician.
Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation includes:
We always provide our rehab residents with a Private Room. If you're able to sit in a wheel chair at the time you leave the hospital we will provide complimentary wheel chair van transportation to our building. Each Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation room has cable television so our residents can keep up with their favorite sports team or news show while recovering from their illness. Walnut Place also provides complimentary laundry services while in our Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation Unit.
What should I bring for my stay? Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation is the step between hospital and home. It is a short-term solution to provide additional nursing care and/or rehabilitative therapy to increase your strength and stamina so you can have a safe and successful return to your home.
